Ziggurat

Ziggurat is a sculptural landscape project located in a Riotinto's abandoned mine. Formed from white stone concrete, it recreates the site's topography through layered terraces and openings that lead visitors into an underground cavern.

The subterranean space functions as a rock museum, exposing geological strata, mineral formations, and crystals. By following the site's natural tectonic incline, the project creates an immersive journey through the landscape, blending geology, architecture, and art.
